Paris-based Ladurée is not new to Vancouver, but the recent opening of its Pastry Laboratory (staffed by one of the company’s certified chefs) means that local outposts can finally bolster their rosters of macarons, chocolates and jams with a steady supply of buttery, flaky baked goods previously unavailable in Canada.
