This dramedy from Peter Farrelly stars Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali in a sort of reverse Driving Miss Daisy, where an Italian-American bouncer shepherds around a touring African-American jazz pianist in the Deep South during the dangerous days of segregation. Proving to be music to many ears, the period piece took home the Best Musical or Comedy award at the 2019 Golden Globes.
