PRISM PRIZE

The Prism Prize honours the best in Canadian music videos, and they revealed a shortlist of ten nominees. On May 13, at a ceremony at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto, one winner will receive $15,000. A jury of over 120 Canadian media professionals will vote based on “originality, style, creativity, innovation and effective execution.” Last year’s Prism Prize was awarded to Kaytranada’s “Lite Spots” video, directed by Martin C. Pariseau. This year’s nominated artists include Alice Glass, Charlotte Day Wilson, Daniel Caesar, Alvvays, Leonard Cohen, PUP and more.
