SOME SUMMER CAMPS STILL DENIED FUNDING

Despite changes to the 2019 Canada Summer Jobs program, some ministries still had funding denied. BCM (Bible Centred Ministries), which runs two summer camps for kids and youth in Halifax and Peterborough, Ont., is one of them. Despite outlining their antidiscrimination policies in the application, they were told they “failed to demonstrate” the camps would be free of harassment and discrimination.
