RELIGIOUS COMMITMENT IMPROVES MARRIAGE

-

Couples with a shared faith who attend church together at least twice a month have the highest relational quality and sexual satisfaction, according to an international study of 9,000 people across 11 countries. Religiously committed couples also had lower rates of infidelity. The study compared outcomes for couples deeply committed in their faith, secular couples and couples of nominal or mixed faiths. While previous North American studies have linked church attendance with lower rates of domestic violence, this international study found rates (20 per cent of relationships) were the same across all categories. www.ChristianityToday.com
