What surprised you as you wrote your article?

JULIE FITZ-GERALD

Story: Sex ed for kids. p.14

“While interviewing Sheila Wray Gregoire and Rebecca Lindenbach, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fun this mother-daughter team was having. They laughed from their bellies as they recounted the totally inadequate sex talk Wray Gregoire had with her two daughters when they were younger, which ultimately led to the in-depth course featured in the article.”

JOEL GORDON

Story: From the ground up. p.30

“I was surprised as I recalled how much I used to appreciate God’s creation. As I rekindle a childhood passion to spend more time walking in the forest and sitting by the pond, my hope is God will draw me closer to Himself and teach me more about how to be in right relationship with all He has created.”

ADAM STEWART

Story: Why attend a Christian university? p.41

“I am continually inspired by the calling, character and commitment of my colleagues in Christian higher education across Canada who, often working at a greater intensity and with far fewer resources than their publicly funded counterparts, cultivate learning environments that are second to none.”
