The Acacia Group is a national Christian firm which offers legal and communications services to churches, charities, schools, individuals and businesses. All four of the founding professionals, Albertos Polizogopoulos, John Sikkema, Faye Sonier and Peter Stockland have long served Christian organizations and groups. Given their individual experiences, they saw an opportunity to create a new business model to better serve their clients. “My law practice has been made up of clients that are churches, charities and other faith-based institutions or organizations,” explains Polizogopoulos. “I frequently had to retain the services of public relations and communications strategists or government relations firms. It has been a dream of mine to have all these pieces under one roof to be more efficient, more cost effective and to better serve our clients.” Having several types of professionals gathered in one firm ensures better outcomes for clients. “There are also cost savings through a much more streamlined, cohesive approach,” says Polizogopoulos. “We’ve always recognized that our clients are stewards of the gifts they receive, and we work to be as efficient as possible for our clients. Our entire business model was created with low overhead in mind so our rates are most often the most competitive in the market. “These practices reflect The Acacia Group’s motto – ‘Our ministry is to help you lead yours.’”
