Better to shut our mouths

I was grieved while reading the book review on Jesus Loves Canaanites [by Randal Rauser]. God doesn’t have to explain

Himself to anyone. Of course, He gave us brains and says, “Come, let us reason together” (Isaiah 1:18). But in saying that, He would expect us to read the fine print of His Word before we get up on our high horse of intuition and accuse Him of immorality. When it comes down to it, we have to shut our mouths at the things about God that we cannot explain and make sure our theories aren’t blasphemous.
