People are curious about religious devotion
People are curious about faith and are open to faith discussions, according to a recent study by Lifeway Research. The study of a thousand Americans found 60 per cent of the religiously unaffiliated are curious about others’ religious devotion. Young adults were the most likely to be curious about the faith of others. Almost a fifth (19 per cent) of the religiously unaffiliated say it is very important to be sure they will go to heaven or have everlasting life. Although they are open to conversations, 60 per cent of respondents say their Christian friends rarely discuss faith. Only 20 per cent of the religiously unaffiliated are not open to discussing faith with a friend, but 25 per cent are not willing to talk about Christianity.
