PARTY FOR JESUS

Young adult pastors in Saint John, N.B., are redefining the word party. Every second month since September 2021, they have held city-wide Jesus Parties. The idea is to set aside differences for an evening to celebrate God and build His Kingdom in the city. The parties are for young adults and start with an hour of fellowship and various activities, followed by a meal and extended worship with short testimonies. They close the night with an informal time for people to gather in groups and pray together. The events average 75 young people and have seen up to 21 churches represented.
