Unveiling an age-old mystery
The Shroud of Turin (purported to be the burial cloth of Christ) is much older than previously believed, according to new peer-reviewed research. A team of Italian scientists used a new Xray dating technique specifically developed to date linen. Their study placed the age of the shroud at around 2,000 years old. The research calls into question a 30-year-old carbon-dating project, which estimated the shroud’s age at around 700 years old. WWW. CHRISTIANPOST.COM
