Religious discrimination at work
Muslims, Jews and Evangelicals in the United States experience workplace discrimination in different ways, according to a study from Rice University in Texas. Drawing on a survey of 13,270 people from 2020, the researchers conducted 194 in-depth interviews and found two-thirds of Muslims, half of Jews and 36 per cent of Evangelicals faced discrimination at work. While Muslims and Jews often faced negative comments about their faith group, Evangelicals were more likely to be singled out with demeaning comments about their moral beliefs. Evangelicals also often reported social isolation at work due to their faith. WWW.STUDYFINDS.ORG
