The war in Ukraine has occupied our prayers for months. We’re staggered by the magnitude of devastation. Millions have been displaced by the brutal violence. Hundreds of thousands are imprisoned in humanitarian catastrophes.

We can feel powerless to help. But together, we can. The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is in Ukraine, delivering lifesaving assistance since day one. Together, we can save more lives.

ADRA is a global network of over a hundred offices, implementing disaster response and development projects with professionalism, expertise, and transparency. Guided by the biblical principles of justice, mercy and love, ADRA serves humanity so that all may live as God intended.

With local and international partners, such as the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, ADRA is providing shelter, food, water, cash, trauma counselling, and safe transportation to hundreds of thousands forcibly displaced within Ukraine and refugees abroad. With ten vans, ADRA is delivering lifesaving supplies to hotspots and evacuating those who can leave. Over 14,000 people have been evacuated to safer areas (as of May 2022).
