Unilever has com­mit­ted to us­ing 100 per cent re­us­able, re­cy­clable or com­postable plas­tic ma­te­ri­als by 2025 and to halve their prod­ucts’ en­vi­ron­men­tal foot­print by 2030. Last year, P&G cre­ated the first-ever re­cy­clable sham­poo bot­tle for Head & Shoul­ders made with plas­tic waste found on beaches that was col­lected by thou­sands of vol­un­teers. In 2017, 97 per cent of the pa­per used for the L’Oréal Group’s prod­uct in­struc­tions and 100 per cent of the card­board used in its prod­uct boxes came from re­spon­si­bly man­aged forests.
