FASHION holds an epic bash to celebrate going all-inclusive.
We love fashion, you love fashion and we love you!” FASHION’s editor-in-chief, Bernadette Morra, declared to the 500 ultra-stylish party-goers who gathered at the Design Exchange to fete the March issue of FASHION.
The event celebrated the relaunch of FASHION as an all-inclusive brand aimed at all sizes, ages, ethnicities, genders and sexual orientations. Notable guests included Ladyfag, Skin, Vivek Shraya, Christina Schmidt, the Beckermans, Yasmin Warsame, Traci Melchor, The Rebel Mama’s Nikita Stanley and Aleks Jassem, Dorian Rahimzadeh, Mei Pang and JacquesClaude Sader.
A creative vibe was sparked from the get-go with guests stopping to snap selfies in the TRON installation by Bruno Billio that led up to the party. Inside the main space, DJ Babygirl kept the crowd on their feet while laser lights flashed overhead. The pink velvet BOSS lounge—where imagery from the brand’s newest campaign hung on the walls—provided guests with a chic place to sit, sip and people-watch. And the canna-curious congregated in the Dosist corner, where the company shared info about its dose-controlled cannabis pens and range of mood options.
Instagram ops included a steamy performance by Tush, models in fetishy burlesque-inspired couture by Maison Chardon, a pop-art sculpture garden by Diana Lynn VanderMeulen and florals by Jackie O. Groups of friends gathered to vogue it up at the LED tunnel photo booth.
Guests were fuelled for the night by Oliver & Bonacini, Roll This Way sushi, Love Gelato, CXBO Chocolates, Vellamo water, beer from Stella Artois, wine from Mezzacorona and cocktails courtesy of Bulleit bourbon, Don Julio tequila, Johnnie Walker Black Label, Tanqueray No. Ten gin and Cîroc vodka.
