LONDON CALLING
Here, the Londoner shares her favourite hot spots in her hometown.
FACIALIST “Teresa Tarmey, who has a clinic in Notting Hill, does very good radiofrequency treatments, IPL [intense pulsed light] therapy and peels. I always recommend her and her team.”
INJECTABLES “I’ve been getting Botox since I was 35 and have always gone to Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh because I trust him. When you do things like Botox, you have to trust somebody’s process.”
NAIL SALON “Eighty-8 in Chelsea. My daughter and I go in tandem.”
HAIRDRESSERS “My colouring is done by Marley Xavier, who has his own atelier in Notting Hill. And Greg Hill, who works out of a very famous hairdressing salon called Josh Wood Colour Atelier, does my blow-drying.”
CULTURAL INSTITUTION “One museum that I think is underrated is the V&A. It always has really interesting fashion-focused exhibitions, like ones on Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and Russian jeweller Peter Carl Fabergé.”
THE OUTDOORS “Kensington Gardens at Kensington Palace is where Queen Victoria grew up and Princess Diana once lived. My nanny took me to the Round Pond when I was tiny, and I would go in my teens when I felt lost in life. I walked around it right after I got married and also when I first had my daughter.”
RESTAURANT “My favourite French brasserie is Colbert. It looks over Sloane Square, where there’s always lots of activity.”
TRANSPORTATION Woodall is a big fan of the city’s motorbike taxi services. “They’re a great way to get around quickly, and my drivers always point out interesting city facts.”
