FORTY CREEK DOUBLE BARREL RESERVE WHISKY

-

And to finish, something warm and smooth. John K. Hall, veteran proprietor and master distiller at Forty Creek Whisky, blends his individually barrel-aged corn, rye and malted barley whiskies and ages them again in used bourbon barrels that have already given up their most pungent gifts. As a result, there’s less sherried fruit than in some Forty Creek whiskies but more spiced nuts and caramel. Lots more... It’s very smooth, rich and round but not too sweet—something to sip from a smallish glass with no call for water or ice, either with dessert or after.
