TRY THIS
For a hint of mint, bring 1 cup (250 mL) sugar and 1 cup (250 mL) water to a boil in a small saucepan and add 6 big sprigs of fresh mint; stir and reduce to simmer for 1 minute. Cool for 30 minutes. Strain. Add 1 tsp (5 mL) mint syrup to each drink; mix gently and garnish with fresh mint. Refrigerate syrup up to 2 weeks.
