GRAND MARNIER LOUIS ALEXANDRE LCBO 525261, $79.95

Louis-Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle invented Grand Marnier in 1880, combining the mature Cognacs his family produced with the essence of bitter but highly aromatic green Haitian oranges, then barrel-ageing the result. The cuvée named after Louis-Alexandre uses older Cognacs than the regular Cordon Rouge and is a touch more dry, though still velvety, intense, smooth and delectable.
