There really is such a thing as a healthy dessert and this recipe proves it! Whole grain oats, whole wheat flour, strawberri­es, rhubarb and almonds team up to make a delicious dessert that’s high on nutrition and light on sugar and calories. One serving—only 260 calories—provides 6 g of fibre, 5.5 g of protein and, thanks to the strawberri­es, nearly half a day’s worth of vitamin C for women (one-third of a day’s worth for men). Strawberri­es are also an excellent source of brain-friendly polyphenol­s.
