RECIPE FOR A VINEGAR MARINADE

• 1 part of water • 1 part vinegar • ½ part of sugar • Salt to taste • Vegetables • Spices

1. Put the lids in the hot water to relax them

2. Put the ingredient­s (except your vegetables and spices) in a

saucepan

3. Bring everything to a boil

4. Put the vegetables in the pot

5. Add the different spices

6. Make sure the edge of the pot is clean

7. Pour the brine into the jar up to about 2.5 cm from the edge 8. Close the jar

9. Put in a cauldron of boiling water covered about 15 minutes

using forceps

10. Remove the jar

11. Flip the pot on the counter and wait for the “pop”
