MORIFONE: EXCEPTIONAL GUITARS

-

Morifone is a dream realized for its founder Ren Buffoni. At age 8, he was already building, in series, paper-construction guitars. After being a part of a multitude of rock bands during his youth, he then became a sound engineer before embarking on the "real" construction of guitars. Today, with the help of his mentors, including master luthier Marc Lupien of XXL Guitars and a team of nerds passionate about guitars, he realizes his childhood dream by setting up his own guitar company.

Based on the specifications of the iconic guitars in the 1950s, the brand new Quarzo de Morifone is their standard bearer. Its mahogany body with maple top and ebony fingerboard offers a traditional, honeyed and warm sound. But because of their special head, Morifone is currently the subject of great curiosity in the world of guitar at the international level.

The Quarzo uses the winged head Aileron ™, a patented design, as a world first. In addition to being Morifone's visual branding, the Aileron ™ head offers functional benefits:

• More Sustain (duration of sound over time) • Better tone (a sound reminiscent of Gibson's Les Paul 1959)

• Better playability - ropes are easier to handle (bends)

• When placed on a flat surface, the guitar does not detune since the keys (angled upwards) do not touch this surface.

Designed and buil in Montreal, Morifone Quarzo is available online
