A new kind of hair salon

It is by combining the high-quality elements of a female salon with the traditional art of shaving that they become a modern sanctuary.

The Blōke Experience

I myself tried the experience with Pasqualino Dachille, and it was a really different experience, in the positive sense.

I chose the Maestro experience. This includes hair washing, head massage and haircut depending on your hair type, facial structure and lifestyle, followed by a hot towel, hot foam, a straight razor shave and a beard cleaning/line if you need to, it was not my case.

First, Pasqualino asks me questions about my last cuts, how I place my hair, what I liked about the last cut, and also analyzes the result of the latter in real time (what the result gave after about a month of cutting).

Then it’s a first hair wash. And the cut, and since it was my first time with him, he asked me a lot of questions. It’s really nice to see him focused on his work rather than constantly looking on his phone like many barbers do.

Then it’s the hot towel, it must be said that Pasqualino makes two types of cut, one with wet hair and another with dry hair. It relaxes my skin well before shaving, it is essential, especially for me who has sensitive skin and who shaves especially with an electric razor.

I must say that the experience of the hot towel is somewhat destabilizing, it is important not to forget to breathe through your nose. Then comes the shaving, I was not too traumatized, the important thing is to stay relaxed, especially when it is the first time that you are shaving by another person, confidence is required.

After shaving, rinse hair to remove small hairs, I love this way of doing it. And then, the final cut, and the products. It is really interesting to see this way of doing things, we get a taste for it easily.

A few questions to Demo Pedulla

A few weeks ago, I interviewed the cofounder of Blōke to find out more.

Coming from a barber family, he liked contact with men, but he lacked experience, consultation.

He has been practicing hairdressing since the age of 14, so he has seen salons.

He really wants to create a new barber trend, a hybrid between the store (Reuzel products in his case) and the barber shop. He really wants to educate the customer, create a personalized service with the customer.
