Matt Caudle of Caudle’s Catch Seafood understands there are many people who don’t know a lot about how to properly cook a lobster or how to shuck an oyster without damaging the oyster (or themselves), so he has introduced a new catering service to the family’s 27-year-old seafood business. The company’s “travelling oyster bar” or “mobile lobster boil” could be an ideal addition to a theme party.

Oyster bar: Oysters are perfect for a martini party or a “Gatsby-era” deco-themed party. Caudle’s Catch will shuck oysters fresh, and guests can choose from a wide variety of fresh oysters (sourced directly from the east and west coasts). They can then choose from a variety of fresh-made sauces to complement their oysters, eg. Mignonette sauce. Party hosts can even add some fresh sashimi salmon and tuna or some scallops ceviche to add a customized twist to their raw oyster bar.

Old-fashioned lobster boil: Many people have enjoyed a big lobster dinner with friends and family while visiting the East Coast. The idea of the mobile lobster feast is to bring that authentic East Coast lobster boil feeling right to your own backyard.

Caudle’s will set up the cooking area, set all the tables with lobster-themed table settings, cook and serve all the lobster and then clean up, leaving the location just as they found it. They can cater a small lobster boil for 10 people or full costume Pirates of the Caribbean- themed party for up to 200.
