Hope and the holidays
Holiday Tour of Homes a festive and fulfilling way to give back
It's been said, Christmas and the holiday season is a good time to open your homes and your hearts. Every year, HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre helps you do both with their Holiday Tour of Homes, now in its 14th season. Mark off Nov. 13 and 14 on your calendar and experience what has become one of the region’s best ways to launch your festive season.
Tour through five homes splendidly decorated by professional decorators, florists and garden centres to capture the mood and spirit of the season. You might even be able to steal a few ideas to make your home warm, inviting and ready for elegant entertaining.
A new addition to the tour sure to be the centre of attention is the Kitchener Conestoga Rotary Dream Home. It’s the 30th year this Rotary club is holding its fundraiser, which has raised more than $7 million to assist local charities and organizations, including for the first time this year, HopeSpring.
All proceeds from the Holiday Tour of Homes benefit HopeSpring, which offers free and much-needed support to people who have cancer and their families.
On the following pages, we offer you some stunning glimpses of the five homes that participated in the 2014 tour. It’s just a hint of what awaits you this year.
