Built with Polartec Neo Shell fabric, the Nabu Jacket provides water and wind resistance usually associated with traditional hard shells while still offer ing the breathability and stretch found in most soft shells. Marmot tapes all the seams and uses water resistant zippers throughout the jacket further increasing water and weather protection. As with any proper mountain jacket, the Nabu has a roomy helmet-compatible hood as well as two hand warmer pockets that can be accessed while wearing a pack or harness. Further storage and organization is achieved with a small internal chest pocket and an external chest pocket, which features an MP3 cable port.The jacket’s sophisticated patterning works with the fabr ic’s built-in stretch ensuring unrestricted movement during technical climbing. This is a robust garment that many climbers could easily use as a substitute to traditional hard shell jackets.
