The result was the first ascent of Hypothenus­e, 5.13c, at Val-David. “There is still a lot to do in Quebec, just in the last season I have opened three new routes. I am working on another which will be the hardest, all obvious cracks that no one has tr ied before. The hardest move on Hypothenus­e is at the beginning, sloppy hands to a finger lock. It took me five or six days to climb it, I was ver y happy,” said Pee Wee.
