The next competition was at Grip It in Saskatchewan, Josh Muller and Regan Kennedy walked away with first place finishes. On the same day in Montreal, Sebastien Lezure and Marieta Akalski won. The next set of competitions was in December. In Toronto’s True North, Kerry Briggs won her second Bloc of the season and Dylan Barks won for the men. Steve Townshend placed fifth. Townshend had not competed in years and only climbed in the gym a few days over eight months, making his fifth place finish that much more impressive. On the same day at Vancouver’s The Hive, Stacey Weldon and Simon Parton finished in first place. The Tour continues on Jan. 11, at Climber’s Rock, Burlington, Ont.
