A cold-weather load-hauler, Black Diamond’s Mission 50 is sized to accommodate all the gear needed for long alpine routes or wintertime cragging. BD’s reACTIV XP suspension system moves with you on the approach, but strips down (lid, waistbelt, framesheet) for climbing. The massive extendable collar, extra-long rope strap, external crampon pouch and tool pick-pockets f it the huge pile of gear needed for cold-weather excursions. A side zipper allows easy access to pack contents without having to open up the whole bag. The pack carries ver y well, the large, comfortable hipbelt easily dealing with heavy loads. The shoulder straps are soft and well-padded, their narrow yoke a great f it for smaller-shouldered men, or women climbers.
