One of the lightest boots on the market, the Eiger GV excels at hard ice and mixed climbing. Dexterity, ankle articulation and feel through the sole are exemplar y. The carbon-kevlar Asoframe midsole is stiff but light. Insulation and waterproof ing is courtesy of Gore-Tex Duratherm. A Superfabric mini-gaiter adds warmth and abrasion protection for the laces, and the neoprene cuff seals out snow and other debris.
