The Nano Air combines Patagonia’s new ful l-range insulation with a l ight weight r ipstop shel l into a jacket that actua l ly breathes as well as it insulates. The Nano Air doesn’t feel clammy no matter how hard you’re working, and the stretchy fabr ics al low it to move with you, though they don’t provide much wind resistance. The hood f its both over or under a helmet, and with four pockets (t wo chest pockets and t wo hand pockets) there’s ample room to store small items. Fit is ath letic without being bagg y, with long climber-fr iend ly sleeves and a hem that stays put under a harness. The soft fabr ics are warm, and combined with the fantastic breathabilit y, this is a jacket you want to – and more importantly, can – wear all day, from the approach through the dr ive home.
