Raphael Slawinski and Team Climb Canmore “Gash”

Above Canmore are a number of northfacing peaks. While most of the rock is subpar in the summer, it makes for fun winter climbing. Raphael Slawinski had attempted an often-looked-at and previously tried route on the north face of Lawrence Grassi before returning this year for the send. Once called “the town gash,” Slawinski named it Tainted Love after the send with Colin Simon and Juan Henriquez.
