Canadians Climb New Ice in Japan

Will Gadd and Sarah Hueniken visited Japan in January and climbed two new mixed routes. One is a 30- metre M9 WI6 called Fun Chimes near the Zao ice f lows, which they climbed with Ed Hannam. The other route is Frozen Gold, a 100- metre WI7, which climbs ice blobs on volcanic tuff.
