Gripped

20

- BP

One of the classic 5.10 cracks in the Okanagan Valley. If you don’t like trad climbing, this route will change your mind. It climbs like a route in the New York Gunks, has bomber gear and amazing holds. Climbed f irst in 1992, it sees countless ascents every year. Skaha is a one-of-a-kind experience. Weekends can be busy, so plan to carpool up the one-kilometre access road to the parking lot. There are new signs for 2016 that enforce no parking along the road. The above routes are only a few of the hundreds of amazing lines that can be found in Skaha.–
