When did you start writing the book and when did Justin Dwyer get involved? I started writing the book about eight years ago. Initially, I conceived it as a way of getting out info on the major new area I was developing, The Swamp, as well as updating development at other crags. That whole idea ground to a halt when The Swamp suddenly became popular and was very nearly closed. Holding off on the book only made sense. It’s funny, The Swamp was the f irst area totally f inished for the book, but still people think I’m holding out information so that it can be my secret crag. Justin has been involved for maybe six years, it’s kind of a blur. He had been extensively documenting stuff on his own and the partnership just made sense.
