GETTING THERE

-

The Obed is located in the hilly region of rural northeastern Tennessee, on the Cumberland Plateau, about one hour from Knoxville. You can fly to Knoxville or Nashville and rent a car to get there. As there are no buses that will get you close to the area, you will need your own transportation. Once you arrive, however, it should be easy to walk to most venues if you visit the crags that area near the Lilly Pad.

From Lancing, Tenn., stay on the TN-62 until you reach Ridge Road on your left after about 3.5 km. You will drive another 4.5 km on ridge road until you pass Doc Howard Road on your left. Before the bridge, immediately after Doc Howard Rd, there is the gravel road into the Lilly Pad (there should be a sign).
