Stu Smith Sends New Squamish Cracks

Stu Smith had a busy summer with many hard sends. In August, he made the first ascent of Ship of Theseus 5.13R on the Overlook Wall below the Sea to Sky Gondola. The route requires a rack of small gear. “Steep Jamming and burly laybacks,” said Smith. In the Smoke Bluffs, Smith added Mullet Power 5.13a to Island in the Sky wall in the Smoke Bluffs. The hard line follows a thin seam up a steep wall.
