New Route on Bedson Ridge in Jasper Dunynel Geiger and Tyler Davidson sent a new route on Bedson Ridge near Jasper. Their new 300- metre 5.10c is a variation of Grand Mother and Running Scared in Dark Places. They called it The Illusion of Running Scared in Dark Places.
New Squamish Sport Crag is Pilots’ Lounge The Pilots’ Lounge has a handful of routes to 5.13b. To access the wall, you must climb a 40- metre 5.11 called Ground Up. The wall is located near the Top Shelf crag above the Mamquam fsr road.
First Ascent of Big Bugaboo Route Jesse Huey and Maury Birdwell made the f irst free ascent of the 30- pitch Armageddon at 5.12+. The grade-six route was first climbed in 1999 by Jonny Copp and Mike Pennings at 5.11+ A2.
Two New 5.12s in Bugaboos Jon Walsh and Colin Moorhead sent Minotaur Direct 5.11+ 16 pitches on the east face of Snowpatch Spire and Sick and Twisted, a five-pitch 5.12a on Eastpost Spire.
