Adamson Family Climbs New New Brunswick Routes

A family in New Brunswick spent 2016 developing hard new routes around the province. Brothers Jon and Peter were often joined by their father Steve on new routing days. At the Utopia Crag, Steve made the first ascent of Sculputre 5.9 and Jon made the first ascent of Way of the Road 5.12a and Send Badge 5.13a. At Cochrane Lane, Peter made the first ascent of Dinah Moe Humm 5.12. All three East Coast climbers took part in new-routing on the Minister’s Face, a cobblestone wall accessed by boat. One of the highlight routes was Abu, a 40- metre 5.10c.
