New Drytooling Crag

The Drive In is a new drytooling crag near Canmore. The 15- metre wall is on the western edge of Jura Creek east of Exshaw and can be accessed by parking next to the creek and walking in for five minutes. Most of the routes climb a vertical wall and range from M4 to M6. The only roof route is Mark Bramble’s Demolition Man, which goes at a hard M7 and climbs through a series of overhangs. The area was first explored by Jay Mills, but the full potential wasn’t realized until 2016 when Brent Peters bolted many of the routes. The area should take some of the crowds away from Haffner Creek and the Playground.
