It’s lightweight and while not ideal for big rock climbs, it is ideal for summer alpine. The roll-top collar keeps the contents dry and you can pack it down once you have your gear out and on. The hip belt and frame comes off and out for summit push day and the 30 litres can f it an extra rope, down jacket and food.
