What’s been your goal in climbing the past few years?

Any specific training for the trip? Yes, there is always training. I plan to climb some bigger Rockies alpine routes and local link-ups this summer. I’m also going to Squamish and Yosemite this fall.

What has been one of most memorable alpine experiences? Climbing the South Buttress of Mount Loki on Baffin Island with Anna Smith, who passed away this year. I will never forget Anna constantly laughing and rolling smokes at each belay. We had many adventures on that trip.
