also avail­able from Rocky Moun­tain Books ($32 in hard­cover), won the prize for non-fic­tion Moun­tain lit­er­a­ture at the Banff Moun­tain Film and Book Fes­ti­val in 2017 for its in­sight­ful and frank book about one of the great­est climbers ever.
