A Bridge Too Far
As one of the best climbs near Mount Kidd, the 160- metre WI4 is busy most weekends. You climb a steep 40- metre pitch that leads to a few lower angled sections. If the bottom isn’t in, they you can hike around. There are also mixed climbing options behind the curtain. Getting there: Park at Galetea Creek for Kidd Falls, about 32.5 km along Highway 40 from t he Trans-Canada. Follow t he main trail from the parking over a bridge crossing the Kananaskis River. Go to the sixth bridge until you see the climb.
