The Goat

Danny O’Farrell spent a number of days over the past two years establishing The Goat, a 19-pitch 5.9 all-bolted route in Marble Canyon, B.C. The big alpine-style sport route climbs solid slabs of limestone up Midwall. Most of the climbing is 5.5 to 5.7 with some 5.9 moves. All of the stations are bolted and you can rappel it with one 60-metre rope or hike off. O’Farrell made the complete first ascent with Jake Allen in mid-June.
