Big Bro Fact: Rock and Ice magazine wanted a Big Bro review nearly 20 years ago, but no one wanted to lead any offwidths. They asked Big Bro inventor Craig Luebben to climb with them, which led to him to become a professional writer. When Fixe took over production of Alien, they made some changes, such as making them lighter and more flexible. With easy-to-use colour coding to identify the piece you need and with longer stems, these new Aliens are a little easier to use than the last ones. They’re perfect in shallow, narrow placements and in horizontal cracks. They won’t walk thanks to the flexible steam and extendable sling. Highly recommended.
