The Scarpa Origin has a flat and soft rand which is perfect for new climbers or for pro climbers looking for a warm-up shoes before jumping on harder routes. The comfortable leather uppers have lots of padding and the rubber provides enough grip so you can edge on small holds. These will stretch out, so buy a half-size down for optimal performance. These are designed for vertical climbs, your footwork will suffer slightly on overhanging routes due to the larger toe box. But wow, are these plush.
