The new-for-2018 Petzl Nomic is an evolution of the very popular secondgeneration Nomic. It has a new plastic head insert which addresses the issues climbers were having with a loose head and the new grips are softer, grippier and wider. The new handle is also 20 grams lighter. It has an updated Mini Marteau hammer which brings the weight back up to 605 grams. The new pommel has a spike and lanyard attachment, which is not meant for bodyweight. The pick weights are redesigned with a taper to jam in cracks. Amazing updates which make a surprisingly big difference in the performance. Highly recommended.
