The updated Meteor helmet comes after the updated release of the Petzl Sirocco and Boreal and features top and side protection. The new Meteor will weigh the same as the current model at 220 grams but has extra ventilation. Of all Petzl’s helmets, the Meteor is the best for trad climbing and now that it has extra side and rear protection, we can’t stress enough that you should update to a safer option this year.
