Spoc Progress Capture $107

The Spoc is like the much-loved MicroTraxion and has similar functions, but with a few differences. It’s a directional pulley for use as a progress capture during improvised glacier rescue, hauling or as an emergency rope ascender. The Spoc has a high-efficiency small aluminum ball bearing pulley with a retractable toothed cam. While the pulley is smaller than that of the Micro-Traxion, it’s more efficient. The unit is only 60 grams instead of 85, and allows ropes from seven to 10 mm, but can handle the Edelrid Rap Line II at 6.5 mm. Highly recommended for serious bigwall climbers.
